Greenville Stone Garage

The owners of a stately stone home in Greenville, Delaware hired Homsey Architects to design a free-standing garage that matches the character of the home, blends with the landscape, and offers privacy for a classic car collection. The solution was to nestle it gently into a wooded hillside, face it away from the home, affect the fewest number of mature trees, and use stonework and details matching the house. Upon approach, the garage appears as a picturesque outbuilding peaking from the foliage.
